ACER SNOWMEC'S PATENTED TECHNOLOGY

The Acer Snowrnec indoor snowmaking system is patented in 28 countries and recognised by skiing and refrigeration experts alike as the most advanced technology in its field. The Acer Snowmec concept is not only the best quality product of its type on the market, but has now achieved the status of anchor attraction on muiti activity centres as well as being highly acceptable in planning terms as it addresses the balance between private gain and public good.

Over the past decade all aspects of the technology have been thoroughly researched and Acer Snowmec has now fully investigated every possible component required to construct and maintain a successful snow facility.

Such exhaustive R&D means that Acer Snowmec is continually updating and adding improvements to the system including substantial new patents, the most recent a Snowflake Machine, which produces an authentic snowfall. Our patents (currently in 28 countries) will protect the licensed facility within an exclusive catchment (if required) from other Acer Snowmec centres and any similar competing technologies.

Not only does Acer Snowmec's technology produce the best quality snow, but it also offers the lowest capital and running costs when compared like for like with any of its competitors. Thanks to the unique; thermal storage system, which offsets all of the cooling requirements over 24 hours or more, snow can be made every day at a cost of approximately US$1.50 per cubic metre (subject to local energy costs). And because the Acer Snowmec system uses no harmful chemicals, unlike some competitors' systems, it is also the safest and most environmentally friendly system available.
